Was that Jeb’s blimp crashing to the ground?

Once again, the media got it wrong. That big blimp circling out of control over Pennsylvania farmland this week? It wasn’t an Army experiment from Aberdeen Proving Ground, after all. It was the Jeb Bush campaign, leaking air as it made one final, desperate pass over a key battleground state before crashing and burning – just as Jeb himself would do a couple of hours later on the debate stage in Boulder, Colorado.

But Bush wasn’t the only loser in the latest GOP dust-up….

GOP goes nuclear on NBC: You’re fired!

RNC chairman Reince Priebus

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus had a message for NBC on Friday: You’re fired.

The RNC said it was “suspending” its partnership with NBC News on Friday due to the disastrous CNBC debate in Boulder, Colorado, Wednesday night. Priebus has been under fire from conservatives for agreeing to the debate, which featured a litany of biased questions by moderators Becky Quick, Carl Quintanilla and John Harwood….

The night I got to moderate presidential debate

Wow!

That was an illuminating debate.

It wasn’t so much that I heard any new policy prescriptions.

It wasn’t that there was so much heat generated between the 2016 Republican presidential candidates.

Of course, it was the night the establishment media imploded by placing their own biases and, well, hatred on public display.

And it was all arranged with the full cooperation of the Republican Party establishment.

What we are seeing in the 2016 presidential race…

A Halloween Horror story in the People’s House

Washington is moving aggressively to inoculate itself against The Insurgents. By the looks of it, there will be no Republican insurgency.

The series of political eruptions begun when Donald Trump appeared on the scene is losing momentum.

The Republican Comitatus, to use Cullen Murphy’s description of Rome on the Potomac – “the sprawling apparatus that encompasses” political party leaders, pseudo-intellectuals, media, donors and kingmakers –…

Thank you, CNBC, for a wonderful evening

I dedicate the lead of this column to thanking CNBC for displaying its rank liberal bias in last night’s GOP presidential debate for all the world to see.

In relative terms, “all the world” is not that far off if you consider last night’s audience size compared with the network’s usually paltry ratings. The more people who saw this charade from the network’s alleged moderators the better for America.

My first reaction as this spectacle…

CNBC moderators flip lids amid debate backlash

CNBC’s handling of the GOP debate in Boulder, Colorado, Wednesday night earned the network a well-deserved “brutal takedown,” according to one columnist.

So how did CNBC respond to widespread criticism of its questions to presidential candidates that included “Are you a comic-book villain?” “Why don’t you resign?” and “Can you do math?”

By dumping on the candidates over the number of syllables in their words…

‘This is suicide for Republicans’

GOP debate on Oct. 28

The fierce Republican backlash to the tone and tenor of questions to the 2016 GOP hopefuls during Wednesday night’s CNBC debate leaves the party no choice but to remove liberals from the events and demand better work by the chairman to give conservative principles a chance to be expressed.

That’s the reaction from Richard Viguerie, chairman of Conservativehq.com and a decades-long fixture in the conservative movement, in reaction to…

Bad blood: A Clinton vs. Trump campaign apocalypse

Have the Republican and Democratic parties’ front-runners for the 2016 presidential nomination already launched their general campaign themes against each other?

It sure sounded that way this past Saturday.

First, at Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Jacksonville, Florida, with thousands of cheering supporters on hand, he unleashed his brash, anti-Hillary message:

“You want to have a mess of a country, you want to have nothing but problems. You want…

Rafael Cruz: LGBT activists will fight to legalize pedophilia

Rafael Cruz

Sen. Ted Cruz’s father says LGBT activists will move to legalize pedophilia.

Pastor Rafael Cruz told Buzzfeed on Wednesday it is only a matter of time before activists seek to normalize the psychiatric disorder.

“I think that’s the next thing that they’re going to push, to try to legalize pedophiles,” Cruz said at the World Congress of Families, and annual gathering of conservatives in Salt Lake City, Utah. “Pedophilia, you have…

Media try to take down Carson at debate

Dr. Ben Carson was aggressively pressed by Carl Quintanilla during the main GOP debate held by CNBC at the University of Colorado in Boulder Wednesday for his involvement with two companies, Costco and the medical supplement company Mannatech

Costco is noted as one of the most “gay”-friendly companies in the country. Quintanilla pressed Carson on the seeming contradiction of serving on the board.

Carson pushed back, suggesting Quintanilla was creating a false…
